Cerebral Palsy
Thanks for reaching out. At Human Garage, we believe the human body is an incredible, self-healing system, a "biological computer" capable of profound adaptation and transformation. Our approach centers on understanding the body's natural language and removing the physical and emotional "static" that can hinder it's optimal function. This perspective offers unique insights into conditions like Cerebral Palsy (CP).
We understand that CP presents unique challenges, often characterized by issues with movement, posture, and muscle coordination. From our fascial perspective, we see these challenges as a manifestation of the body's deeply ingrained patterns and holding. We recognize that in CP, the fascia—the intelligent, water-filled web that holds everything together and conducts signals throughout the body—can become especially tight, restricted, and solidified. This isn't just about muscle or nerve damage; it's about how the entire system, including the fascia, has adapted to initial injuries or developmental differences.
Our core belief is this: Even with CP, your loved one's body holds an immense capacity for improvement and increased ease. While we acknowledge the neurological component of CP, our focus is on optimizing the physical environment within the body itself. By gently unwinding and releasing fascial restrictions through specific, rotational movements and conscious breathing.
